Lou is all dressed up as Santa Claus, to put on a Christmas party for a little nephew Sebastian. Costello is looking forward to his whole family attending. Bud asked him about what kind of Christmas tree he has. He gets confused about concepts regarding trees, bark, pitch and other words related to trees. The attention turns to trimming the tree, and Lou tells why he uses spaghetti for tensile. Sebastian arrives with a shotgun to hang on the tree. A delivery brings the flowers that Bud ordered. Lou’s flour related puns insult the florist.
Bud encourages Sebastian to go to sleep after hearing a story from Lou. Lou ends up singing himself to sleep and begins dreaming. In his dream he and Bud are kids. The troublemaking Lou insults his family members, and has a fire lit to greet Santa as he comes down the chimney. He even has a bad report from a schoolteacher. After going over his list, Santa clearly has him on the bad boy list. Lou was upset, and writes a note saying that he is running away from home.
As Lou sleeps, and thinking that no one is coming to his party, Sebastian wakes him to a house full of guests. The gang take turns singing fund lyrics to white Christmas.
