Joy reigns again in Pine Ridge, once secrets of the missing baby have been revealed. Lum mixes up the baby formula, as Abner is amazed and confused over the scientific process of it all. A new problem arises, when Henry Lunceford phones in curious things happening in a house. Abner thinks its haunted, and wants nothing to do with it.
Despite his fear of ghosts, Abner chuckles at the wasted efforts of Mousey, and his investigation into the Black Pelican. Lum’s effort to count out measurements for the baby formula are interrupted by a visit from Mousey and Cedric.
The two secret operatives give their report on the activities of the Black Pelican. Will they realize it was actually Lum? Does the Pelican live in a tree… a cave… or write messages in blood?
