You Can’t Do Business With Hitler -Two for Me, One for You. ep4, 1942

A vintage advertisement for Admiral radios. It features an elderly man in glasses, sitting in a chair, with an excited expression as he listens to the radio. He holds a newspaper and gestures with a pencil. Next to him is a large radio. The text reads, "Mother! Come quick… it's our Jim on the radio from Naples!" The ad describes how Admiral radios broadcast important news during the war, promoting their quality and reliability.

Just as the Nazi’s are waging war on the world, they are waging war on the free enterprise system. Americans want to make sales, but Germans don’t want to pay cash for the goods. Even when a deal can be arranged, the risks are weighted to benefit the German government, and give Americans the short end of the stick. These business practices are said to date back as far as 1934. When trades are arranged, American businesses had to put up their goods first, then receive far lesser value goods in exchange. The penalty for not accepting the deal is to have their goods confiscated.
