A group of people have come across a secret about the Wakefield’s, and an enchanted oak that can move under its own power. Nearly a century earlier the remains of a man’s body was found entangled in its roots, and even today it seeks revenge on the Wakefield heirs.
As the group stray from the inn, a strange tree is discovered with bark that feels more like skin. Creepy, time to head back to the Inn. Which way was it?
Suddenly its dark as night, even though it’s the middle of the day. Branches that caress the heads of the group cause near panic. Will everyone keep sane heads, or will the group flee in fear?
Where is that strange tree? Has it moved away? The group can only keep moving if they hope to find their way out of the woods. They’ve found their way in, surely, they’ll find their way out. Won’t they? Will there be a ray of light to lead out of the forest before the whole group meets their doom?
