Jake is alone in his office at the movie studio when Becky arrives. He tells her that their movie production is in full swing, and things are going well. He complains about the headaches to the business, but to all appearances to Becky he seems to be trying to take a nap. Does she have time in the middle of his day to take her to a movie?
Sarah enters to take Becky off of Jake’s hands. The lady is taking a walk along the strip on Santa Monica Blvd. Sarah talks her mom into visiting a fortune teller. Becky is a little confused as to how the man can know things about her past or future.
Sarah imagines the exciting things the fortuneteller might say about them. Becky is more down to earth, and increasingly nervous as they anticipate their meeting. The swami tells them they’re going on a long trip. Will the swami be able to help mama Bloom with a long-standing problem?
