After the air has been cleared about all the lies, we find Lum and Abner in the Jot ‘Em Down store. Abner gets a little confused over Lum’s figure of speech about the chickens coming home to roost. Once Squire is spotted approaching though, they decide to give him the silent treatment. The Hindu prince has left town, and Squire pours on the appeal to sympathy, claiming that he was forced into the sneaky doings. Can he be trusted? Lum and Abner forgive him enough to let bygones be bygones.
