PS: Being a presentation by the Armed Forces Radio Service, Ads are taken out. Except for those little blurbs about Lucky Strike going to war. To fill in some of the time the editing left, some instrumental organ music is added at the end.

Note: With the war effort in full swing, the sponsor is still driving home it’s new branding. Namely switching from the green packaging of the product, to the white package we still have today. It was a marketing ploy that took advantage of the patriotic movement of the war effort. What does a color change have to do with fighting the war? Um… nothing much. But can you feel the flavor of the wartime climate, with all the war related songs topping the charts?
