Sheriff Hanson is alerted that George Hawks can be found dead, and hanging in his barn. After visiting the scene, he calls the Texas Rangers when signs that it might really be a murder are found. George was an alright guy, and didn’t have much trouble with the ranch hands. What will Mrs. Hawks have to add?

Fingers are fast to point at each other. Drunken ranch hands, prone to be fired and re-hired, The possibility of a love affair with Mrs. Hawks. or is there some other likely suspect?

Results from the lab work doesn’t have any conclusive help for Jase. No marks of violence to the victim, cause of death from strangulation, will Jase find the key to unlock the mystery? Alibis and stories seem airtight, and almost too similar. It shoots red flags up for Jase.

New forensic evidence uncovers the murder weapon. Can Jase get his suspects to snap, and blow their cool?
