Audio is scratchy and on the poor side. Recently, a movie company wants to make a picture in Pine Ridge. Abner and grandpap talk about the plans to use the jot ‘Em Down store in the film. Also, about the roles that Lum and Abner will play. Lum has been reading up on acting, and practicing his technique.
Abner changes topics and shares with grandpap about how he rented the store to Squire while they will be filming. He also shares what he discovered about Squires real motive behind the renting deal. The only person who stands to benefit is Squire, of course.
what will Lum say about it once he enters? Lum goes on about his new acting career, and Abner tries to delay talking about the rental deal. He finally does, as he takes a running head start.
