After a year’s work Jack is paid off with a special donkey. The donkey’s special talent is to make gold coins fall from his ear. will Jack’s dad be impressed? Something goes wrong, and after another year of work, we find Jack being paid off with a magic table that will fill its top with desirable food. will this be the thing to win the hand of Betty Anne?
If Betty Ann’s family won’t have Jack, Suzann, the daughter of Mr. Crafty, is impressed with the way Jack has been working hard, but will their fathers be ready to consent to their marriage? Somebody has been cheating jack, and when you listen in, you’ll know who. After another year, Jack returns with only a stick to show for his hard work, but it’s just the thing for jack to expose the truth.
