Audio starts out poor, but after the commercial it clears up some.
Lum and Abner want to raise money for a new tourist camp, and they have a few options available. Abner is out trying to collect on the store’s accounts receivable. Lum and Cedric talk in the Jot ‘Em Down store, as Lum considers selling out his half of the store to Squire Skimp.
Lum figures he can make enough money to retire on by working for the rich widow. Grandpap enters the scene to join the day dreaming of the good fortune of being the widow’s grounds keeper. Lum even has thoughts of marrying the widow.
A phone call comes in that might make Lum think again about his schemes.
