A brother and sister ran away to avoid the abuse from their stepmother and stepsister. They find an enchanted stream, then hide in a house in the woods. The brother has been changed into a fawn, and they find solace when the king visits. A happily after moment? Nope. The wicked stepmother and stepsister get wind of the marriage of the daughter, and set out to make sure to keep brother from ever returning to normal. If possible, they even want to overthrow the daughter, and steal the throne for themselves.
Laying on the charm, and lies, the stepmom and sister try to set their hooks into the king. What other spooky, supernatural things are going on here? Is it meant to help or harm the girl and her brother? I’ll bet that all the magic charms will end up being broken and happiness will reign, but how? Listen and enjoy the magical fairy tale.
