More Notes:

Cisco and Pancho take time to visit the blacksmith shop and have their horses’ shoes replaced. They are warned off from heading out into the Badlands. There are strange goings on happening out there. Bandits are on the loose, and organized into an empire of outlaws.

Meanwhile, Cisco finishes dinner, and is polite to all the ladies. Just then news of the Baron of the Badlands makes the lady nervous, and she runs out. We find that she’s involved with one of the bandits who is trying to break free of the hold that the gang has on him. Suddenly Cisco becomes the center figure in their plan to make their break.

Cisco is the carefree kind of guy who does what he likes, and likes what he does. Will he be suckered in by a woman? How could he resist a damsel in distress? The woman talks a good line about being worried about her money that she supposedly inherited, and about the Western outlaws. As Cisco questions her, her story has holes, but are her lies going to be good enough to convince Cisco?

She’s not the most upright character in the books, but when the Baron rides in for a show down with the gal, and his escaped bandit, Cisco springs into action to bring about justice anyway.
