Vic and Sade – Rainy Day Fun. 451206

A black and white photo of an old-fashioned movie theater marquee with the name "Bijou" in large letters at the top. The marquee features several movie titles, including "The Lone Ranger Returns" and "East of Eden." A few people are visible walking past the theater on the sidewalk.
Rush Gook, who was born Victor Rush Meadows and adopted at age nine, is his usual garulous self, providing all the latest news from Edwards High School.

This one is close to Vic and Sade – Parade of Interruptions. 451127. Instead, Sade is trying to entertain her Thimble club when Rush comes home early from school. As she tries to encourage him to be quiet, and not disturb the ladies, Vic comes home with work.

Sade’s frustrations grow as one by one Fletcher, Mr. Corkel, and his assistant Orville all enter to get out of the rain. Each are talkative, and serve to make enough noise to keep Sade popping out of her meeting to shush them.

The crowd seems to have no end of neighbors, all seeking shelter, and all adding to the noise. Poor Sade.
