Connie talks with Mrs. Davis about the donation drive, and her dress that she’s giving to the cause. Later, on the way to school, Walter talks to her about relationships including Harriot Conklin, and Connie’s dating life.
At school, Mr. Boynton makes his contribution to the drive, but wishes he could donate a nice suit like the one Mr. Conklin gave. When Connie announces her intention to go Christmas shopping later, she gets asked by all her friends to do some shopping for them. There’s a mix up brewing when Connie tucks her envelope of shopping money into the pocket of Conklin’s donated suit. Conklin finds himself eating his words when he refuses to help Connie get that fancy suit back. He has left something important in a pocket as well.
Can Connie get her money back out of the pocket? Will Conklin get back his wife’s jewelry that was also left in it? Will a needy person get an extra surprise? Listen for the comic outcome after the weird antics of Connie Brooks and the gang.
