George is made to believe a man is in danger, so he follows him to learn what he can. The snooping around soon reveals a matter of a dysfunctional married couple, a jealous wife, a cute ski instructor, and a gal who is having an affair with the husband. The disappointing case of divorce isn’t impressive to George, and he is about to walk away for better things. Then a gunshot brings him back to focus on a murder.
Who killed the husband? Did the wife want out of her marriage that badly? The facts seem too convenient for George’s liking. Not wanting to let things drop, George digs for more clues, and turns up the key to nail down the real killer. The plot twists keep on coming, right up to the end.
