Note: Audio is good, but the final moments are missing. The story is pretty much all there though. If I can find a more complete copy, I’ll replace the audio later.
A fine crew stands by, while their sailing vessel is made ready. Is there a problem with it? Will the ship ever fulfill the dreams of carrying cargo to the far reaches of the Roman Empire? An accident finds the strong man of Ephraim on his sick bed. His old friend, Uriah comes to cheer him up. Humbled, and not able to walk, the proud man wants only to bathe in his own pity party.
Encouraged by his friend, and his wife, Miriam, Ephraim agrees to journey to see the Master. His belief is further bolstered when he hears the songs of others who are sick or disabled, who also seek the Master’s healing touch. Pride and disbelief are cast aside, but will healing come?
Lessons still need to be learned on the bravery required in being meek. Weakness is mistaken for meekness, and bitterness rages through Ephraim. Can Ephraim be convinced he can still command his ship from port. Why does he think he needs to sail on it to benefit from his investment in it? He has to learn that sometimes greater strength is needed in dealing with disability, than in having it taken away.
Audio cuts off as he is coming to grips with his new station in life, and staying in control of his shipping business. .
