American Theater Of Radio – The Almost Perfect Crime. 331005

A man becomes indignant as his evening is interrupted by a police detective who has come around knocking. As he answers a few questions about the night of the crime, we go into flashback mode where the young man talks about marriage plans with his gal. What might be revealed in his telling about the shooting? He claims to have been held up at gun point. Is the evidence that the cops have purely circumstantial? There are flaws in the story compared to forensics, and when double checking, a solid motive is the key that holds the truth to the crime, and it’s a scandalous ending to the case once the truth is known.
