This is no place for perfect crimes, but one that came close was the robbery of the Bank of England. Two men meet to compare notes, one a top detective for Scotland Yard, and the other a top man from the Pinkerton Agency. A man name Horton has their attentions, and the large sum of money that is missing from the bank’s accounts. The detectives lay out the story, and the activities of the criminals.

The cops know what is going on, but it’s that same story of actually being able to catch up to the bad guys. The hunt is on!

Horton has a couple partners, and though bankers have been warned, they all feel too secure in thinking they have nothing to worry about. Crimes continue, and more solid evidence piles up for the forgers. The cops close in, but do the crooks suspect? Will they slip through the grasp of the lawmen? Have the cops finally gotten a step ahead of the criminals?

The tension, and drama heat up as the cat and mouse chase comes to an end. Voiceover narrative wraps up all the loose ends for the listener.

Note: I don’t see how this even close to a perfect crime, but the drama in the chase after the bad guys is worth taking a listen.
