Title: Family Reunion with Marine Jack Barber.

Jack and Betty get ready for the day in their home next door to Ma and Pa Barber. Just how many kids does Betty plan on having?

Ma Barber puts the finnishing touches on the huge breakfast. Pa and the family prepare to attack the breakfast table with military precision. Teddy, Irene, and the girls keep the plates of food coming as Jack applies his Marine Corps skills to pack it all away. Betty and the girls bask in the appreciation.
Jack tells Cliff and
the rest how he became a 2nd Lieutenant. What’s going to happen with him now? Ma is a little worried that he’s to go to jump school to be a Para-Marine. It’s the toughest of the tough services, and Jack sees it as taking charge of his military career, rather than just taking a passive part, marking his time until the war is over.

Jack also talks a little about the training of the 5 week course. Parachute jumps, and hand to hand combat training. The duty of front line service only sobers the discussion a little, before moving on to that huge family that Betty has planned.
