Actually an installment of Mystery Playhouse, and introduced by Peter Lorre. A couple attendants are bored with the lack of happenings in the morgue. The story unfolds as they talk about the dame they have in the vaults. Is Alice Ross the sister of the man who comes calling? What they find when he goes to identify the body is a missing woman, and a murder in the morgue. The quiet boredom explodes into drama, and the two attendants become the prime suspects.

Listen up as the details of the crime scene are described. Our two attendants hit the streets to re-examine the original scene of where Alice was said to have committed suicide. As they avoid the cops, and try to keep a step ahead, they head out to get answers. They have to find the killer before the cops catch up to them, so they can clear their names.

There’s a dame, who is the wife of a musician, and another body. A trap is layed out to nab the killer red handed. Who will fall into the trap? Somebody is telling lies about their true identity. By now all the clues should make the killer clear, but get ready for the dramatic conclusion as our heros tie up thee knots on the loose ends, and explain it all.
