Whistler – Affair at Stony Ridge. ep212, 460617

"Vintage radio with a wooden exterior and large speaker grille sits on a table. Its black dials and knobs are visible, and the illuminated green signal indicates that it is powered on."

The nasty situation of a love triangl is portrayed on a farm. Jody has driven to the farm where he meets up with Myra. She was supposed to meet him in town, but instead saw Jody in a car with another woman and went back home. Jody tries to play it off as nothing, just playing around, every man does that kind of thing. If that’s the case, why does he have that gun in his hand, and why is he asking about the money that is kept by her uncle in the farm house. Myra must be really unsatisfied with her relationship with her uncle Rance, if she’s so desperate to run off with a sleazeball like Jody.

Jody keeps wearing her down, and bullying her into thinking he’ll take her away to the easy life if she’ll only tell him where the money is. Will she wise up to Jody’s tricks? It’s too late by the time Myra realizes that Jody is a monster who just killed her uncle. Terror strikes her as she tries to evade the murderous Jody. Does she have any hopes of surviving to see the end of another day? A neighbor, Mr Benton visits, but can Myra tip him off somehow?

Myra breaks free, but where can she run to? Where can she hide? Just wen things look worst for Myra, the Whistler has a final say in the suspense of the dark and stormy night. Stay tuned to see how justice worked its way to the surface. For those who aren’t agriculturally minded, here’s a clue, listen to the cows.
