A quiet little town has exploded with activity after oil has been discovered. Along with all the industry has come crime and vice. It’s up to Jase Pearson to look into murder, but he’ll get a lot further if he goes undercover. The small time criminals stay in business, since the Texas Rangers have their sights set on the kingpin of the operation.

There’s no pipeline to move oil to the refineries, and Jace thinks there could be something fishy going on with the convoys of trucks. Will it tie in with the rampant crime, and murder? The Rangers have forces of men standing by to shut the town down, all they need is some solid evidence.

As Jason Pearson keeps snooping, he may have the evidence to tie in the kingpin, Frankie Genarro, but it’s still a lot of circumstantial evidence unless he can get the crime lab something they can use. With that evidence in hand, the Rangers make their move, but where’s Frankie? Will they still have the element of surprise to catch him?
