When last we saw him, Clark and Elsie Beacham have been exploring Stone house in serch of Elsie’s father, but Clark is called out of the house when she has frantically honked the car horn.
While standing outside, drums are heard coming from inside the house and a huge black man approaches them. Clark gets Elsie safely tucked away, and Superman confronts the huge man in a fist fight, and ends up tossing the man up a tree.
Elsie demands to not be left alone, and when trying the locked door, Clark feels it’s justified to break into the front door. The lock breaks easily at the hand of the disguised Superman, but Clark tries to make like it was no trouble to smash the door, claiming the lock was old and rusty. Inside the two snoop around, but nobody seems to be home. Then footsteps are herd upstairs. Is it her dad?
Clark once again leaves Elsie alone downstairs in the dark as he checks out the noise. A voice from the other side of a door warns Clark to stay away. Clark identifies himself as a reporter, and just wants the professor to know he is a friend, and Elsie is worried about him.
A scream is heard and wehn Clark and Doctor beacham run downstairs, Elsie is missing. Who was that shadowy figure that was seen takeing her away? What kind of danger is the doc trying to warn Clark about? Find out in the next exciting installment.
