In need of resupplies, Britt heads in to town for some shopping. The shopkeeper catches him up on the latest gossip. A letter has come from Britt’s aunt Emma. She plans to move from Topeka to Powder Creek, and she expects Britt to live with her. Just what does aunt Emma have planned for Britt? Plans for a little matchmaking, and getting her only brother’s little boy to settle down.

Family duty and obligations cause Britt to go along with aunt Emma. Britt does what he can to meet Emma’s demands, but will the domestic life keep him around? What Britt sees is that Emma just needs someone to take care of. Desperate to get out of his new banking job, and back on the ranch, Britt tries a little matchmaking of his own.

Now it’s a matter of who has the stronger will to see the other married off. Personally, I don’t think aunt Emma is trying very hard, but might she have a secret up her sleeve?
