A high powered business executive, Mr Crowder, wants to build a spaceship. He is determined to be the first man to build one. Money is no object, and he fires anybody who casts doubt, or negative aspirations on his project. The ship is promised, but the team of scientists can’t promise they can come up with the vital piece needed to finish it, an engine.
Can the rich business man lure scientists into his pet project? Eventually the project of finishing the spaceship comes to a stand still. When all is looking lost, a strange man enters with a solution. There’s just one catch, the little man wants to be on the maiden voyage, and of course so does the powerful businessman.
The big moment comes, and Mr Crowder revels in his moment of triumph a the rocket breaks free of Earth’s atmosphere, but his glory soon ends wen he learns that he isn’t so powerful when he is left in the hands of the strange little man.
