The word of the day is, trust.
They’re 90 miles outside of Dodge City, but it’s where Matt and Chester have found themselves. Shot up, and weary, but in a standoff wit their hunted man. With the pursuers and the pursued on foot, the man is apprehended, Mat has no reason to believe or trust the man’s story or integrity.
The three begin their long walk to the nearest stage coach line.
Matt convinces the stage driver to stop and take them on board. The overcrowded stage coach takes on the new passengers. Matt tries to be discrete as to his mission, and transporting his prisoner. In such tight quarters, can he keep the secret? At the station house, the prisoner tries to gain some points by levellng with Matt about a passenger who is a wanted man who is a known stage coach robber.
Armed with the info, and calling on trust from the shotgun rider, Matt suspects a robbery could be in order. Is there any danger to worry about? Will he be right? We’ll find out after the commercial.
The next leg of the journey goes well, but at the next weigh station there’s sign of an indian attack. Was it indians, or white renegade road agents? When the stage is robbed, Matt has to trust in his prisoner. There’s another standoff, and the situation gets tense. Who can be trusted? Will Matt’s prisoner prove his worth? Just listen in to the dramatic finish to learn all.
