At a beach party, a couple step outside for a breath of fresh air. As they stroll the beach, and argue, they spot a strange man. He doesn’t answer them, but continues writing in the sand.
What is he writing? She is disturbed, but he is amused, at least at first. The realization sinks in that the names and dates are the dates a person is to die.
Names are written. Names are erased.
Then the names of our couple are written. Faced with the weight of knowing how much time they have left, the trivialities of their lives take on a new outlook. What will they do, armed with this new knowledge? What would you do… make some adjustments to your bucket list maybe? Suddenly, the events and peope at the party take on a different importance for them.
