Today’s adventure finds our heros on the trail to a gold mining town where 7 men have disappeared. Bill has a plan to use Jingles as bait for being the 8th man to vanish. Will the bad guys fall for it? Better yet, will Jingles go in for it?

In a salloon in Black City, the background is drawn out when the sherriff talks with some of the miners about the past disappearances. When a miner strikes it big, his days are numbered. Wild Bill enters the scene to break up a scuffle, and puts the local law in his place. The listener soon learns that both the sherriff and judge are corrupt. They are quick to devise a plot to murder a local rival, and the newspaper office is burned down.

After the commercial, Bill and Jingles help thenewspaperman sort through the ashes of his place. Now it’s time for Jingles to put their plan into action, and he celebrates, and claims to have struck it big in the mines. It’s just the tempting bait needed to lure in the bad guys. The mystery that the crooked judge and sheriff is behind the disappearances is now in the open, but Bill still needs proof. Jingles is still in danger, but can Bill rescue him and get his evidence before it’s too late?

Things get more tense when the judge is clued onto Wild Bills plan. Stay tuned to the exciting conclusion.
