Lum and Abner – Abner to Get Rid of His Half of the Store. 480826

Two men dressed in traditional Hawaiian attire, Lum and Abner, are seen mid-dance in the center of a small store. Lum, on the left, is playing a ukulele while Abner on the right is swaying his hips and waving his arms. A small crowd is gathered around them, some clapping and others smiling. The store itself is cluttered with various items, including shelves of canned goods and hanging clothes, giving it a cozy and lived-in feel.

Down to his absolute last possessions, Abner plans to get rid of his stock in the store by a grab bag sale. Grandpap helps to get the sacks ready.

For just a dollar, customers may find an alarm clock, boxes of snuff, or anything he can find to pack the sacks until the seams are ready to burst.

Lum helps by making out coupons on slips of paper for extra items for the sacks, like feed from the feed room. Cedric has trouble with the hefty, overstuffed bags. The party line is alerted to the sale… but is Abner forgetting something?
