Preparing to celebrate the Passover, crowds throng in the streets. Joseph of Arimathea is amazed at the cheers of the people. Elsewhere, Caiaphas is far from pleased with the palm leaves, And shouts of Hosanna. He gets a lucky break when he’s approached by Judas.
At the seder meal, the Master washes the feet of his disciples. Will they understand his humble teaching? As the meal continues, the disciples break bread together, and the ordinance of communion is given. How will the disciples react to the predicted betrayal?
Later, in the garden, the Master prays that his Father’s will be done. The conflict at the sound of marching feet is put to rest. Though vowing otherwise, Peter finds himself betraying the Master as well. The travesty of justice leads to Pontias Pilate, and the final injustice is carried out.
Note: a concise, and condensed account of the Easter story from triumphant entry, to apparent defeat on the cross, as there ever was. I suppose it would be too much to tell the rest of the story, and portray the resurrection all in one sitting.
