Ralph Gordon is diing on his yacht, somewhere off the coast of Haiti from a voodoo curse. Johnny is sent to find out what’s wrong, and possibly save the insurance company from having to make a hefty payout. Johnny finds a crusty old sailor, and a beautiful dame as he closes in on the yacht. Is this really a matter of voodoo?

Trying to find more practical answers, Johnny encounters a scientist who claims it’s just a matter of the mind. The next step is to confront the lady who put the curse on Ralph. Better watch out Johnny, or you may end up with a curse of your own.

Johnny isn’t buying the idea of curses, and applies some heavy pressure to the old voodoo woman. Will he find out who put her up to cursing Ralph? Will she crack and admit she’s a fake? Since Johnny wasn’t turned into a frog, or a zombie, he has enough to go on to find a scientific explanation to the superstitious mumbo jumbo.

Sure of himself, Johnny tries to return to the yacht, but confronts the business end of a rifle before he can come face to face with Ralph Gordon. Will Johnny’s hunch pay off? Will he be able to rescue Ralph from death? Listen in for the answers, and to see who had it in for the man.
