Lum and Abner – Abner and Lizabeth Move in with Lum. 480824

Two men dressed in traditional Hawaiian attire, Lum and Abner, are seen mid-dance in the center of a small store. Lum, on the left, is playing a ukulele while Abner on the right is swaying his hips and waving his arms. A small crowd is gathered around them, some clapping and others smiling. The store itself is cluttered with various items, including shelves of canned goods and hanging clothes, giving it a cozy and lived-in feel.

After selling all his furnishings at the auction, Abner needs a place to stay. Cedric is on hand to learn what life is like with Abner living with Lum. He’s going to be stuck with his bill for Abner’s things, since Abner had sold it all to Squire before the auction.

How does Lum feel about his new house guests? Rearranging his things, cleaning and dusting, it’s more than Lum is used to. With no more field work, or livestock to look after, Lizabeth needs something to do to keep her busy.

The gents discuss the hard working, and industrious Lizabeth, the debt Lum owes to Squire, the amount of remaining cash that Abner still has., and more. Cedric may hold the answer… or not.
