Making arrangements, Fibber calls to order supplies, right after a quick chat with Myrt the phone operator.
Don Novas sings, When the Deep Purple Falls. Don then talks with Fibber about his anticipated world cruise. Fibber brags about a mermaid relative. In the maritime store, Fibber does some shopping. Uppington does her own nautical shopping. Maybe she’ll join him on the world cruise? Billy Mills plays and the Four Notes sing, Umbrella Man. Boomer pops in, but doesn’t want to be pinned down on Uppingtons plans to get married. Fibbr invites him on the trip if Boomer can produce a navigators license.
