Uncle Tyconderoga has left word that Fibber is to recieve an inheritance. Hal Peary is the lawyer who is handling the execution of the Will. In the process of things, we learn that Fibber had the childhood name of Stinky, and that he was left a yacht. Old Timer enters to joke about Fibber’s excited behavior. Making arrangements, Fibber calls to order supplies, right after a quick chat with Myrt the phone operator.

Don Novas sings, When the Deep Purple Falls. Don then talks with Fibber about his anticipated world cruise. Fibber brags about a mermaid relative. In the maritime store, Fibber does some shopping. Uppington does her own nautical shopping. Maybe she’ll join him on the world cruise? Billy Mills plays and the Four Notes sing, Umbrella Man. Boomer pops in, but doesn’t want to be pinned down on Uppingtons plans to get married. Fibbr invites him on the trip if Boomer can produce a navigators license. Which he has just about everything but that. Gildersleeve is back to try to iron out a little snag, but Fibber brags about being SeaUrchin McGee. What’s the trouble with the yacht?
