Lum and Abner – Lum Gives up Trapeze Act. 480606

Two men dressed in traditional Hawaiian attire, Lum and Abner, are seen mid-dance in the center of a small store. Lum, on the left, is playing a ukulele while Abner on the right is swaying his hips and waving his arms. A small crowd is gathered around them, some clapping and others smiling. The store itself is cluttered with various items, including shelves of canned goods and hanging clothes, giving it a cozy and lived-in feel.

Lum is hard at work in the big top, learning to be a trapeze artist. Squire does his best to encourage him to learn some stunts. If Lum backs down, will any of the other jobs be any less hazardous?

Will Lum do better riding the elephants as king Eddards? Can Lum and Squire double team Abner to convince him to be the lion tamer?

There’s no danger in putting your head in a tigers mouth… right? As Abner tells Lum about the tricks the elephants are expected to perform, he begins to feel a little queasy.
