Abner complains about the way that Zenora has Lum wrapped around her little finger. Cedric can’t tell whether Lum is lovesick, or his funny look is just due to something he ate. It’s making Abner so mad he could bite.

Squire enters to share his own concerns about Lum, and the attention he’s showing to Zenora. He’s spending all their profits on pampering his love interest. What’s his newest extravagance?
