Working undercover in the Narcotics department, Joe Friday has caught the small fry in the drug ring, but now he’s after the big fish. Reporting in at the squad room, he reviews the case with both the captain and his partner, Ben Romero. A portrait of the damage that drugs can do on it’s users is presented. The team of cops discuss strategy behind using their information from their previous arrests to bring down the big man. An undercover operation is out of the question. Joe recaps the result of the 4 hour meeting, and describes the police action in tailing their man. Creative and elaborate stake outs are put in place. The ring leader didn’t get to where he is by accident, and the cops have to play it careful and easy so as not to spook their suspect.
