Two men dressed in traditional Hawaiian attire, Lum and Abner, are seen mid-dance in the center of a small store. Lum, on the left, is playing a ukulele while Abner on the right is swaying his hips and waving his arms. A small crowd is gathered around them, some clapping and others smiling. The store itself is cluttered with various items, including shelves of canned goods and hanging clothes, giving it a cozy and lived-in feel.

Lum tries to give Abner a lesson in marketing. Will Abner pick up on the new psychology of sales? The gents try to brush up on their customer service skillss, and salesmanship.

When Mrs Barton phones in her order, Lum tries to show off a technique of being humorous. Did the joking around work? It sure confused Abner. Will he be as funny as Lum on the next order?

Grandpap enters, but will the humorous sales technique be a sucess, or just get grandpap riled up? Squire enters omn behalf of the chamber of commerce to shut down the store, due to complaints from folks in town.
