Dragnet – Myra The Red Head. ep13, 490901

A security guard dressed in a dark uniform is reaching for his sidearm, which is holstered on his right hip. He stands in front of a brick wall, with his left hand resting on his belt. His facial expression suggests a state of high alertness and readiness to act in case of any threat or danger.

Working the Auto Theft detail, a gang has been apprehended, but the brains of the operation is still at large. Chief Backstrand calls on Joe Friday to question the 19 year old juvenile. He probably just deserves a good spanking for his attitude, but it could warrant him a trip to San Quentin for the felony. Will the kid crack?

Who is to blame? As soon as Stanley Freeman points fingers at his girlfriend, Joanne Miller, the dam bursts and information flows freely. The interrogation pits one against another, until a full picture of the gang is painted. Milford is picked up, and other gangs are turned out. A network of gang activity centers around a red headed woman named Myra.

The stakeout in the works is big enough that even chief Backstrand wants to be part of it. Cops converge in the cold night, hours pass, then their mark shows up. Still, no red headed woman named Myra, and the robberies are in full swing.
None of the gang know where to find Myra… or do they? A break comes from a disgruntled, and jilted gang leader. Suddenly, Myra’s well laid plans come crashing down on her. Time to enjoy a satisfying smoke. Yeah, whatever. Note that commercials, and other content , are left intact for historic and entertainment purposes only. Don’t smoke. It’s bad for you.
