Often Wild Bill and Jingles have the crooks on the run. Today though, the bad guys seem to be on the trail of our heros, and the running is in the other direction. As Bill takes cover, and manages to stay out of sight, Jingles recognizes the crew who are racing down the prairie as a posse, but Bill warns that their mission is to not be seen. It doesn’t take much for Bill and Jingles to be found out, mistaken for bandits, and hauled in to face Big Jake, the rancher and sheriff.

Little does anybody know yet, that Big Jake is just the one who sent for Bill. We soon learn that the foreman, and leader of the posse is a bully. Bill keeps his identity a secret as he spies on the happenings, and gathers information. Just what is the secret and mysterious doings at the ranch?

Secrets can’t be kept today, and to complicate matters, the bad guys learn Bill’s identity, in protecting the ranchers daughter, Jingles is locked in a cave with her, and can’t get out to help with the fight. With Wild Bill on the loose, he manages to make short work of the evil plans, gun battles, and horse chases ensue. Even still, what is the secret? Will Bill make the bandits crack and admit it all, or somehow expose the mystery? You know he will, but ride along and enjoy the fun for yourself.
