Making their rounds, Matt and Chester encounter an old braggart of an indian fighter telling tall tales to any who would listen. Matt sees through all the bragging, and sends the crowd on their way. Sometimes those who brag the most are only trying to make up for a nature of cowardice. Old Andy is about to have his bravado tested when a hardcase rides into town. What does he want with the suddenly timid Andy?

The situation seems to have settled down, but in the Long Branch Salloon, Andy approaches Matt with fears that Hodge Logan is out to kill him. Will the nervous old man take the advice from Matt, and his experience in real gunfighting? Matt’s problems are far from over when he learns of more gunmen coming to town.

Riding to intercept danger, Matt finds himself caught in a bear trap, and only Andy stands between him, and the desperate gang ofoutlaws. Its Andy’s big chance to be the hero for real, and win Matt’s support in his bragging rights.
