Host is Ernie Whitman, who introduces bandleader C P Johnson. He kicks off with, Southern Fried.

Ida James talks with Ernie, and dips into the mailbag. She sings her hit, and in a particularly sultry style, Baby Knock Me a Kiss.

Ernie introduces pianist, Maurice Rocko who plays in his trademark style of standing up, and sings, Ain’t Misbehaving. C P Johnson is back to play, Devil and the Deep Blue Sea. Or a swinging version that resembles it fairly closely.

Ernie reminds listeners how to write in. Then Col Lancelot sings a song from the film Happy Go Lucky. Not sure of the name, possibly, On the Island, or A Tropical Song. Ida returns to sing, Sunnyside of the Street.

To wrap up, C P Johnson returns to perform, Jumping in the Groove. Ernie and C P have a parting word.
