Host Ernie Whitman gives a jive talking introduction for Erskine Hawkins, who plays, Let’s Ball a While. Erskine then introduces vocalist, Jimmy Mitchell to sing, someone’s Rocking My Dreamboat.

Ernie reads from the mailbag, and thanks folks for writing in. Pianist Gene Rogers plays, I Got Rhythm. Ernie gives a big intro to May Johnson. She dedicates her tune to a soldier that she apparently is connected to in some way, Straighten Up and Fly Right.

Ernie calls out Rochester for a few words. A big birthday bash for the show is planned for next week. Rochester calls out his old vaudeville partner, Johnny Taylor, and Rochester reveals how much he gets paid from his famous, skinflint of a boss… roughly. They sing a duet, Waiting for Jane.

Erskine reads from the mailbag then plays, Tuxedo Junction. Ernie and Rochester close the show with a few words.
