Jack Benny – Lost Horizon. ep272, 371121

Jack Benny, Mary Livingstone and Don Wilson posing for a photo in 1938.

Don teases Jack about his car. Then Mary pitches in with some comments about a flat tire, followed by Phil joining in for a quick insult, although Kenny sticks up for Jack.

Andy Devine tels about getting ready for Thanksgiving. Jack introduces a play where the cast play themselves. Mary wants to know the definition of lost Horizons, but the only person with an answer is Kenny. To transition, Phil plays a tune.

The play starts with Jack travelling to Shangri-la, a place of eternal youth and beauty. A place where every wish comes true. Jack can even sing as good as Kenny Baker. It’s actually Kenny singing, but the song is snipped, so I can’t prove it.

Jack continues his tour to see the Dahli Lama, which turns out to be Schlepperman. Finally, he meets the Dahli Lama’s daughter, Mary who finishes the tour.
