Dean and Jerry have had some success at their nightclub act lately, and they talk about it. Neighbor, Sheldon Leonard, pops in to joke a little about horse racing, then offers them a business deal to buy their own nightclub.
All the guys need is a loan. Well, that, and a cosigner. Jerry gets the brainstorm of getting veteran Vaudevillian comic, Victor Moore to sign for them. The deadpan old comedian is out of the loop on the latest, swanky nightclubs, so the guys invite him to go out and see what the modern night life is like.
Florence works her new job as cigarette girl to join the fun, but will Victor help the guys out?
