Lum has won a new caar in a raffle, but he still has to get it to town and drive down the main street to win his bet with Squire Skimp. He has more problems since he doesn’t know how to drive, and Cedric’s car is broken down. Will he ever get to the county seat to pick up his car?
Though Lum expects an important phone call to help him in getting his car to town, Abner chats happily abut the latest gossip. A phone call comes in, and a friend named Earl reads Abner a newspaper article about the local hobo, Willie Debootler. Who knew a hobo had such connections to a high society family?
