Jack and Mary in 1954.

It’s early morning and Rochester meets the milk man for an order, chats with Polly the parrot and gets breakfast ready for Jack. He hears about Jack’s nice dream he had counting money. Dennis arrives to report that he’s running away from home… again. What’s his mom so mad about? Dennis sings, You’ll Never Walk Alone.

We learn that Jack is to have singer, Johnny Ray on his TV show for his guest. Meanwhile, will Dennis be able to make up with his mom?
Don Wilson pops in on a personal matter. He seems to have some troubles being made fun of over his weight, especially on the television. Bob Crosby phones in his worries that Remley is missing. Is this going to be serious? Then there’s the matter of who is being invited to Jack’s upcoming Thanksgiving dinner. The Sportsmen use special affects to sell the sponsor product, to the tune of Ricochet Romance.

With the gang all gone, Jak rides to the studio in his brand new 1954 Cadillac… er… somebody’s brand new Cadillac. Jack marvels at the new technologies in the studio. His director, Ralph Levy, gives some stage direction and support to Jack.

The dress rehearsal begins, and Jack isn’t thrilled with some cuts to keep the show under the time limit. Will Jack have any recourse to have his way?
