Vic and Sade – Working On Hank Gutstops Debts (Rush). 400506

Art VanHarvey, Bernardine Flynn, Paul Rhimer, and Bill Eidleson

In the house halfway up the next block, Rush reads a passage from the latest 3rd Lt Stanley novel. Though Sade fines it tiresome, and wants to settle the account of Hank Gutstop with Vic. Rush persists in sharing from his book. Sade tries to hold Vic’s feet to the fire, and keep him from loaning any more of their hard earned money to the questionable friend.

Vic is patient, and has a short memory where his buddy Hank is concerned, so it’s up to Sade to force him to keep close tabs on the funds that have been loned out. Besides that, how will they ever get the cash back that has already been loaned? Vic has a plan for Hank to work off his debts by working off the loan, Sade refuses to have any of it. She just doesn’t feel comfortable arount Hank, and doesn’t want him even hanging around the property.

PS: Though the dollar amounts may seem negligible today, try multiplying by 10, and you’ll be approaching a more realistic figure in the impact of today’s dollar value.

Note: For new listeners, the addition of Rush in the title may seem strange, but in just a cuple years, Billy Eidleson, the actor who plays Rush will go off to join the Navy. In his absence, some of the more classic shows will be reproduced using the replacement character, and those will be designated with his name instead.
