Many things might cause the outbreak of a war between cattlemen, but regardless of the cause we find hired gunmen being taken on by rival ranchers. As Cisco and Pancho ride the trail, they become entangled in the feuding.
With the sheriff absent, Cisco takes on the role and tries to keep the peace. The tensions grow until Cisco is forced to draw down on the fast shooting Billy in a classic moment of Western style faceoffs. They meet in the street, and stand at the close quarters distance, then wait to see who can draw first and fastest.
