The sturdy, 2 masted schooners, the spindrift won’t let the big storm waves stop her progress. As the guys keep the ship plowing through the waves, Betty does her best to whip up a meal of hardtack. Shouting orders to one another, join the thrilling adventure as Jack and Billy man the controls.
Uncle Jim helps with the sea anchor while the waves pound the Spindrift. Lifelines keep the crew safe from going overboard as waves crash over the deck. The crew all have to work together to keep the ship pointed into the waves. Billy returns with an oil can to help tame the approaching waves. Along with this anchor, the oil slick works to smooth the rough waves. Betty has good news. The barometer is rising and the crew should be able to hoist sails soon.
